History of Gettysburg Bike Week
For more than two decades, Gettysburg Bike Week® has been one of the East Coast’s premier motorcycle rallies — bringing riders, music lovers, and adventure seekers together in the historic town of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.
Each summer, thousands of bikers roll into the area for four days of live concerts, national and regional entertainment, stunt shows, bike games, vendor villages, scenic rides, and unforgettable camaraderie. From iconic headliners on stage to the rumble of custom bikes on the streets, Gettysburg Bike Week captures the true spirit of motorcycle culture.
But it’s more than just a rally — it’s a tradition. Set against the backdrop of one of America’s most historic battlefields, the event blends freedom, history, and community in a way that only Gettysburg can offer.
Whether you ride in solo, come with friends, or roll deep with your club, you’ll find something at Gettysburg Bike Week to make it a rally you’ll never forget.
Ride. Rock. Repeat.
Join us for the next Gettysburg Bike Week and be part of the tradition. Contact us today to learn more.

We are proud to welcome you back for our 2025 Parade of Chrome!
We invite you to join us in wearing neon teal bandanas, bracelets, shirts, flags, and decorations as a tribute to a beloved member of the Gettysburg Bike Week family, Jeremy Plank. Jeremy tragically passed away in a motorcycle accident on May 21, 2021.
Let’s ride together in remembrance and celebration of Jeremy’s life.
More information on the lineup location is coming soon!
Ride to Remember
This section is dedicated to the memory of our Gettysburg Bike Week family who are not with us in body, but still with us in spirit. May God bless each of their souls and may they rest eternally in peace.

Steve Snyder
Steve is remembered by his wife, Joy, as an avid history lover. He attended Gettysburg Bike Week® for many years, not just for the riding but as an opportunity to learn more about the town's history every year.
Joy is proud to say that Steve's love for history was inherited by his granddaughter, who recently visited Gettysburg for the first time. His family will miss him forever, and they ride to remember Steve.

Eric Miller
Eric Miller passed away on January 7th, 2021, from COVID-19. He is remembered by his family as an amazing friend who loved nothing more than riding his Harley with his wife and granddaughters. Eric was a huge Gettysburg Bike Week® and Harley-Davidson fan.
His family and friends will ride to remember him during Gettysburg Bike Week this year and honor the tradition that he celebrated every summer.

Cathi Hunt
Cathi Hunt moved through her life, a fine woman of great stature, strength, and courage. She lived a noble life, rich in thought, word, and deed, always concerned for the welfare of others. A unique artist and talented storyteller, Cathi contributed a great deal to sharing the history and spirit of Gettysburg. She had previously owned and operated a business in town where she conducted Trolley Ghost Tours.
A skilled motorcyclist, Cathi could be found in the crowd riding her Harley with pride during the traditional GBW Parade of Chrome. She enjoyed all aspects of Bike Week, especially the music and the community gathering together. At home, Cathi was known for creating the best of times with family and friends; love and laughter filled every celebration.
Family and Friends Ride to Remember Beloved Cathi~
Forever in our hearts~

Justin Betts
Justin Betts was involved in an accident on January 27, 2018, when a car made a U-turn in front of his motorcycle. He later died on January 28, 2018, with his family by his side. Justin was the most loving, genuine, assertive, creative, and hard-headed person. He enjoyed motorcycles and was lucky enough to own many throughout his short life. His brother-in-law and sister ride to remember.
Motorcycling is not, of itself, inherently dangerous. It is, however, extremely unforgiving of inattentiveness, ignorance, incompetence, or stupidity.

Troy Kahler
Troy was a loving son, brother, father, uncle, and friend to many. He brought so much joy to the people around him. He loved riding his motorcycle, fishing, hunting, and traveling. He loved life and lived it to the fullest!
Troy worked for Amtrak for 32 years and rode with Teamster Horseman Chapter 53. He was a gentle giant and will be missed by many.
